The MINI HEKI S roof window from Dometic is alternatively available for roof thicknesses between 25 and 42 mm.

In strong sunlight it can happen that the glass of the dome becomes cloudy. However, it will become clear again once it has cooled. This is due to the material properties and does not represent a defect. In addition, you may only close the blackout blind up to two thirds in strong sunlight, otherwise damage can occur due to heat build-up between the blind and the glass hood.

The design of the MINI HEKI S is suitable for vehicles that generally do not exceed a speed of 160 km/h (93 mph). Excessive wind resistance due to excessive speed can lead to damage to the roof window, which in turn can result in the loss of any warranty claims.

To reduce noise caused by wind resistance while driving, the roof window can also (optionally) be fitted with a suitable Dometic spoiler (see the "Accessory" section below).

What is the difference to the MINI HEKI FL (formerly STYLE) model, which has almost the same name?

The main difference between the MINI HEKI S and the MINI HEKI FL (STYLE) model is that the glass dome of the FL model is double-glazed. In addition, the FL model is also available without forced ventilation. The MINI HEKI FL, on the other hand, can only be adjusted in three, but the MINI HEKI S in five different opening positions.

In its compact size, the MINI HEKI S rooflight ensures optimum lighting conditions in your RV, Caravan or Motorhome.

With the integrated insect screen you keep flies (and others) outside and provide with the simply pleated blind for appropriate darkening. The insect screen as well as the darkening blind can be individually adjusted.

Let light and lots of fresh air in your vehicle! The single-glazed roof dome is tinted from the outside and can be adjusted with handles in five stages. A special lock gives the opened rooflight a firm hold.
