Integrated Ceramic Plate – No Rotating Turntable
Unlike many conventional microwave ovens, the Dometic MWO 240 does not have a rotating glass turntable. Instead, its cooking cavity features an integrated ceramic plate. This eliminates moving parts inside the cooking cavity and makes the surface particularly easy to clean.
This well-designed feature is especially practical in the compact kitchen of a motorhome or caravan.

Easy Operation and Clear Digital Display
The control panel with digital display allows convenient adjustment of power levels, cooking times and programmes. An interior light lets you monitor your food, while an audible signal indicates the end of the cooking cycle.
The appliance also features a control panel lock as a child safety function, helping to prevent accidental operation.
Power Supply and Operation Without Shore Power
The Dometic MWO 240 operates on 230 V AC power. Its microwave output is 700 W, while its electrical power consumption is 1,150 W.
For operation without a 230 V shore power connection, a suitably rated pure sine wave inverter is required. We recommend an inverter with a continuous output of at least 1,500 W and sufficient short-term power reserve.
The Dometic SinePower DPSI series, for example, offers suitable power ratings with versions for both 12 V and 24 V onboard electrical systems. Depending on the vehicle's equipment, models with integrated mains priority switching are also available.
Important: Actual suitability depends not only on the inverter's output but also on battery capacity, cabling, circuit protection and any additional electrical loads.
For Use in Stationary Motorhomes and Caravans
The Dometic MWO 240 is designed for use in motorhomes and caravans. According to the Dometic operating manual, the microwave oven must not be operated while the vehicle is moving.
When positioning the appliance, the instructions in the Dometic operating manual must be followed. In particular, the required ventilation clearances must be maintained and the ventilation openings must remain unobstructed. The microwave oven must not be operated in an enclosed compartment without adequate ventilation.
