If you have a vehicle with LED rear lights, the connection to these can lead to malfunctions when operating the parking aid! In such a case, it makes sense to pick up the necessary reversing signal at an alternative location (e.g. at the fuse box).

And please always remember that a parking aid should provide you with additional support. However, this does not mean that the use of this device (as well as all other auxiliary systems) does not release you from fulfilling your special duty of care and caution when manoeuvring.

The Dometic parking aid MWE 7006 is equipped with six 18 mm ultrasonic sensors, which can be mounted to your vehicle in three different ways. Depending on the type of vehicle, this parking aid not only protects the lower half of the rear of the vehicle, but also extends it to the upper half as well as the sides.

The sensitivity of the sensors can be regulated in three stages. In the distance measurement, this also takes into account solid fixed vehicle structures, such as a trailer hitch. When using a bike rack, you can set the system to a second stop zone, depending on whether the bike rack is unfolded or not.

This system with its three mounting variants is ideal for high and wide RV, Camper, Caravan or other comparable vehicles. It monitors acoustically and visually (optional) the rear area at a distance of approx. 0.6 to 3.0 meters.
