Compact 24 V to 12 V voltage converter for vehicles

The Dometic PerfectCharge DCDC 06 is a compact 24 V to 12 V voltage converter for operating suitable 12 V DC appliances from a 24 V vehicle electrical system. It allows suitable 12 V devices to be powered directly from the vehicle's 24 V battery or electrical system.

The voltage converter provides an output voltage of 13.8 V and a rated output current of 6 A. For short load peaks, an output current of up to 10 A for a maximum of two seconds is available.

For 12 V appliances in a 24 V vehicle electrical system

The DCDC 06 is particularly suitable for vehicles with a 24 V electrical system where suitable 12 V DC appliances need to be operated. Its compact dimensions allow the voltage converter to be installed even where space is limited.

The switched-mode voltage converter offers high efficiency and therefore low heat generation. The input and output are protected by an internal fuse. An LED on the front indicates when the unit is operating.

Important when selecting the voltage converter

The Dometic PerfectCharge DCDC 06 is a non-isolated voltage converter. For sensitive electronic devices that require a particularly precise electronically regulated output voltage, a voltage converter specifically designed for this purpose should be used.

Before purchasing, you should also check whether the rated output current of 6 A is sufficient for the connected appliance. The short-term peak current of 10 A is available for a maximum of two seconds and does not replace a higher continuous current rating.
