Lockable Service Doors with Surrounding Rubber Seal

The Dometic SK4 service doors provide a practical way to access storage and service compartments from outside motorhomes and caravans. Their robust frames made from weather-resistant ASA plastic feature a surrounding rubber seal and a lockable mechanism.

Installation is carried out using a clamping frame. The section cut out of the vehicle wall is used as the door panel, allowing the service door to blend harmoniously into the vehicle's exterior.

Five Sizes for Different Installation Requirements

The Dometic SK4 is available in five different sizes. Depending on the version, the suitable wall thickness and locking mechanism vary. The smallest version features single-point locking, while the larger versions are equipped with multi-point locking and either one or two locks.

The most important factors when choosing a service door are the required wall cut-out dimensions and the vehicle wall thickness. The following overview will help you select the right version for your motorhome or caravan. All dimensions are given in millimetres as width × height (W × H).

Important: The wall cut-out dimensions refer to the required opening in the vehicle wall. The overall dimensions include the service door and its outer frame. The clear opening dimensions are smaller than the wall cut-out and are specified in the technical details of each individual version.

Flexible Installation and Secure Locking

All SK4 service doors can be installed horizontally or vertically. For vertical installation, the hinges must face the direction of travel. Installation is carried out in accordance with the Dometic installation instructions using a permanently elastic adhesive.

Difference Between Dometic SK4 and SK5

The Dometic SK4 features a surrounding rubber seal. The Dometic SK5, on the other hand, has an integrated ventilation opening for connection to a compatible Dometic cassette toilet.
