Dometic SK5 Service Doors with Integrated Toilet Ventilation
Lockable Service Doors for Dometic Cassette Toilets
The Dometic SK5 service doors provide convenient access to the service compartment of Dometic cassette toilets in motorhomes and caravans. Unlike conventional service doors, they feature integrated toilet ventilation designed for compatible Dometic cassette toilets.
The service doors are equipped with a lockable multi-point locking system. By using the section cut out of the vehicle wall as the door panel, they can be integrated harmoniously into the vehicle's exterior.
Dometic SK5 – Available in Two Sizes
The Dometic SK5 service doors are available in two sizes:
-
360 x 310 mm: Compact service door for smaller access openings.
-
650 x 350 mm: Larger version providing wider access to the toilet service compartment.
Both versions feature integrated toilet ventilation and are suitable for wall thicknesses of 23 to 36 mm. The specified sizes refer to the respective nominal door dimensions. The exact wall cut-out dimensions, overall dimensions and clear opening dimensions can be found in the technical details of each product variant.
Integrated Toilet Ventilation and Secure Locking
The integrated ventilation system is the main distinguishing feature of the Dometic SK5 compared with universal service doors. It enables the intended connection of the ventilation system of a compatible Dometic cassette toilet.
The lockable multi-point locking system ensures secure closure and helps prevent unauthorised access to the service compartment.
Installation and Choosing the Right Service Door
Dometic SK5 service doors can be installed horizontally or vertically. Installation is carried out without screws in accordance with the Dometic installation instructions, using a permanently elastic adhesive, which is not included in the scope of delivery.
When selecting the appropriate size, particular attention should be paid to the existing or required wall cut-out and the installation conditions of the vehicle. The installation and connection instructions for the toilet ventilation must be observed.
