Facelift 2024
As part of the facelift implemented by Dometic in 2024, changes were made to the design of the interior frame. The handlebar version received a redesigned panel, and the crank-opening version received an improved control panel. The interior frame now also features integrated vent covers, and the fabric cover of the pleated blackout blind is now a single color, in keeping with contemporary taste (the previous STYLE model also featured a textured/marbled color).
The MIDI HEKI FL (STYLE) 700 x 500 in white is alternatively available in the following versions:
- With handle, but without forced ventilation, or
- With crank and with forced ventilation, as well
- With crank, but without forced ventilation
Alternatively, the above versions are also available in the color anthracite/dark grey.
A mounting kit for a roof thickness of 30-34 mm is included as standard. In addition, mounting kits are also available for the following roof thicknesses:
25-29 mm, 35-42 mm, 43-52 mm or 53-60 mm
If one of the assembly kits listed above is required, it must be purchased separately (optional). In such a case, however, it is not possible to offset against the standard installation kit included.
The design of the MIDI HEKI FL (STYLE) is suitable for vehicles that normally do not exceed a speed of 160 km/h (93 mph). Excessive wind resistance due to excessive speed can lead to damage to the roof window, which in turn can result in the loss of any warranty claims.
To reduce noise caused by wind resistance while driving, the roof window can also (optionally) be fitted with a suitable spoiler from Dometic:
Spoiler 570 mm for lengthways or Spoiler 800 mm for roof windows installed transversely to the direction of travel.
Vehicles based on Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer or Citroen Jumper require an adapter frame for a trapezoidal sheet metal roof for installation. These are available in two versions:
Front position ending with the roof edge, as well as Individual position for placement on the rest of the vehicle roof.
