Central Control and Monitoring of Compatible Dometic Devices
The Dometic TD283 touchscreen display provides a central user interface for monitoring and controlling compatible Dometic components within a mobile energy system. The display supports communication via N-BUS and CI-BUS, allowing different energy components to be conveniently integrated and managed.
Important operating and energy parameters of connected devices can be clearly displayed. These can include information from batteries, solar charge controllers, DC-DC chargers and inverters. The energy consumption of connected appliances can also be monitored in real time.
Central Control of N-BUS and CI-BUS Compatible Devices
The TD283 is not only used to display operating and energy data. Compatible devices can also be monitored and controlled via the display and – depending on the respective device – activated or deactivated.
The graphical user interface allows convenient navigation between connected components and the information and settings available for each device. Notifications and detected error messages can also be displayed via the status indication.
The available display, monitoring and control functions depend on the connected devices and the respective system configuration.
N-BUS and CI-BUS – Flexible Integration into the Onboard System
The Dometic TD283 supports N-BUS and CI-BUS, allowing it to be integrated into compatible energy systems in motorhomes, caravans and other vehicles.
N-BUS is Dometic's communication standard developed for networking current compatible energy components. At the same time, appropriately equipped Dometic devices support the CI-BUS standard, which is already widely established within the caravan and motorhome industry.
This allows compatible Dometic components to communicate both within an N-BUS installation and in appropriately equipped CI-BUS systems. The TD283 serves as the central display and control unit.
2.83-Inch Colour Touchscreen for Convenient Operation
The compact TD283 features a 2.83-inch TFT colour touchscreen with 262k colour display. Its graphical user interface provides central access to information from connected components and allows the corresponding functions to be conveniently controlled.
The display is suitable for use in motorhomes, caravans, boats and trucks, providing central monitoring and control of the Dometic energy system even in more extensive installations.
Multilingual User Interface
For convenient operation, the Dometic TD283 user interface is available in six languages: German, English, French, Italian, Dutch and Spanish.
This allows the central touchscreen display to be configured according to the user's preferred language and makes it convenient to operate in internationally used vehicles.
Connection to the Dometic Power App
The TD283 can also be used in conjunction with the Dometic Power App. Wireless communication requires a compatible Bluetooth-enabled device within the connected system.
The TD283 can also be used to activate or deactivate the Bluetooth modules of connected compatible devices together, provided that the respective devices feature Bluetooth functionality.
