Note regarding the operating permit for your vehicle
Whether you are legally permitted to use this rim on your vehicle depends on the number of your vehicle's General Operating Permit (ABE). You will usually find this number in your vehicle registration document (vehicle registration certificate = example: e3*2007/46*0049*…) as well as in the Certificate of Conformity (CoC), which is part of your vehicle's basic registration documents. The rims may be used on your vehicle if your vehicle's ABE number matches one of the numbers listed in the rim's certificate. The kW rating and tire size must also match.
Motorhomes are considered special-purpose vehicles, so the ABE number listed in the vehicle registration document may not necessarily be identical to the number in the CoC document. The Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is the formal proof that the base vehicle has the required EU type approval and ultimately forms the basis for all TÜV wheel inspections commissioned by ALCAR.
If there is no match between the vehicle documents and the wheel certificate, it is possible to apply for subsequent wheel registration at an authorized testing center (TÜV, etc.). However, this is subject to a fee and, depending on the testing center and/or location, can cost between €40 and €80 upon presentation of the ALCAR certificate. Therefore, in such a case, we recommend contacting your preferred testing center beforehand and, presenting the ALCAR certificate and your vehicle documents, inquiring whether they would register the wheels based on this information.
Also important information!
These steel wheel is NOT suitable for the "Maxi-(Heavy-)Chassis" version delivered by FIAT, PEUGEOT and CITROEN since 1994, because its 16-inch-steel wheels have a bolt circle of 130 mm and a center hole of 78.1 mm.
