The MWE 820 parking aid is not suitable for mounting on metal bumpers!

Never fit parts of the parking aid (nor any other parts) in the deployment area of an airbag, as otherwise there is a risk of serious injury if the airbag is deployed.

If you have a vehicle with LED rear lights, the connection to these can lead to malfunctions when operating the parking aid! In such a case, it makes sense to pick up the necessary reversing signal at an alternative location (e.g. at the fuse box).

The sensors can and may be painted.

And please always remember that a parking aid should provide you with additional support. However, this does not mean that the use of this device (as well as all other auxiliary systems) does not release you from fulfilling your special duty of care and caution when manoeuvring.

Audible parking aid for retrofitting

The Dometic MagicWatch MWE 820 is an electronic rear parking aid with four ultrasonic sensors for cars. It assists the driver when reversing and manoeuvring by monitoring the area behind the vehicle and providing an audible warning when obstacles are detected.

The parking system is automatically activated when reverse gear is engaged, ensuring that the parking aid is immediately available when reversing.

Adjustable sensors and tow bar compatibility

The sensor sensitivity can be adjusted, allowing the system to be adapted to the vehicle and installation conditions.

Permanently fitted vehicle components such as a tow bar can be taken into account or suppressed when configuring the system. This makes the MWE 820 suitable for vehicles equipped with a tow bar.

Audible distance warning when reversing

The driver is alerted to detected obstacles by audible warning signals. As the distance to an obstacle decreases, the warning changes accordingly, helping the driver to better judge the remaining distance when manoeuvring.

The four ultrasonic sensors are discreetly integrated into the rear bumper.
