Audible and visual parking aid for retrofitting
The Dometic MagicWatch MWE 860 is an electronic rear parking aid with four ultrasonic sensors and an LED display for cars. It assists the driver when reversing and manoeuvring by monitoring the area behind the vehicle and providing audible and visual warnings when obstacles are detected.
The parking system is automatically activated when reverse gear is engaged. The slim LED display complements the audible warning signals with a visual distance indication, helping the driver to better judge the remaining distance to an obstacle.
Radio mute function and adjustable sensors
When the parking aid is activated, the radio mute function can reduce the volume of the connected car radio, allowing the driver to concentrate more easily on manoeuvring and the warning signals.
The sensor sensitivity can be adjusted, allowing the system to be adapted to the vehicle and installation conditions. Permanently fitted vehicle components such as a tow bar can be taken into account when configuring the system. This makes the MWE 860 suitable for vehicles equipped with a tow bar.
Discreet integration into the rear bumper
The four ultrasonic sensors are integrated into the rear bumper and can be painted to blend in discreetly with the vehicle colour.
The MWE 860 is suitable for vehicles with 12 V and 24 V electrical systems, making it a flexible solution for retrofitting an audible and visual parking aid.
