Audible parking aid for the front of the vehicle
The Dometic MagicWatch MWE 890 is an electronic front parking aid with four ultrasonic sensors for cars. It assists the driver when parking and manoeuvring by monitoring the area directly in front of the vehicle and providing an audible warning when obstacles are detected.
The four sensors are specifically designed for installation in the front bumper. The system is automatically activated via the speed signal and reverse gear, ensuring that the parking aid is available when manoeuvring.
Adjustable sensors for convenient manoeuvring
The sensor sensitivity can be adjusted, allowing the system to be adapted to the vehicle and installation conditions.
The audible distance warning alerts the driver when approaching a detected obstacle. This makes the MWE 890 particularly useful when parking and manoeuvring in confined spaces.
To prevent unwanted warning signals, for example in heavy city traffic or traffic jams, the system can also be equipped with an optional manual on/off switch, depending on the installation. Further information can be found under the “Good to know!” tab.
Optionally expandable with a visual LED display
In addition to the standard audible warning, the MWE 890 can be complemented by an optional LED display. This provides an additional visual indication of the distance to detected obstacles.
Combined with a rear parking aid such as the Dometic MagicWatch MWE 860, both the front and rear areas of the vehicle can be monitored when parking and manoeuvring.
Discreet integration into the front bumper
The four ultrasonic sensors are integrated into the front bumper and can be painted to blend in discreetly with the vehicle colour.
The MWE 890 is suitable for vehicles with 12 V and 24 V electrical systems and is specifically designed for retrofitting an electronic front parking aid.
