The Dometic PerfectView CAM 44 combines two cameras with different viewing angles. This means that the appropriate perspective is available depending on the driving situation.

Especially with larger vehicles, visibility of the area behind the vehicle can be limited. The rear view camera for motorhomes and camper vans improves the rearward view and supports the driver when manoeuvring and parking safely.
When reverse gear is engaged, three-line distance markers can be displayed on the monitor. These make it easier to estimate distances to obstacles and are particularly useful when reversing larger vehicles with precision.

Excellent Image Quality Day and Night
For reliable visibility under different lighting conditions, the wide-angle camera is equipped with powerful LRD-controlled infrared LEDs with automatic brightness adjustment. The illumination adapts to the prevailing lighting conditions, helping to provide a clear image even in darkness.
This allows you to keep a better view of the area behind your vehicle when reversing and manoeuvring, even in poor lighting conditions.
Motorised Protective Cover Protects the Camera
The Dometic PerfectView CAM 44 is designed for everyday use on vehicles. A motorised protective cover automatically protects the rear view camera lens against dirt, dust and stone chips.
Particularly practical: even when the protective cover is closed, the telephoto camera remains unobstructed. This means that the camera can still be used while driving to monitor traffic behind the vehicle.
Integrated Microphone for Additional Safety
In addition to visual monitoring, the Dometic CAM 44 also provides audio support. The integrated microphone transmits sounds from the rear of the vehicle to a compatible monitor.
This makes it easier to hear acoustic signals or instructions from a person guiding the driver. The camera therefore provides not only improved visibility but also an additional source of acoustic information.
Flexible Integration into Existing Monitor Systems
The Dometic PerfectView CAM 44 rear view camera can be connected to an external monitor or navigation system with an RCA video input. This allows it to be flexibly integrated into existing monitor systems.
