This camera is primarily intended for use in vehicles. It can be used in video systems that are used to monitor the area around the vehicle from the driver's seat, e.g. when maneuvering or parking.

The camera with integrated microphone is housed in an aluminum cover and transmits image and sound to a monitor via a cable. The infrared LEDs improve night vision. The camera transmits the image as if you are looking in the rearview mirror.

The camera is waterproof. However, the seals on the camera cannot withstand a high-pressure cleaner!

And please always remember that a parking aid should provide you with additional support. However, this does not mean that the use of this device (as well as all other auxiliary systems) does not release you from fulfilling your special duty of care and caution when manoeuvring.

CAM 18 from Dometic with 140° wide-angle lens

For connection to an external monitor

A small black ball-shaped camera in a sturdy, dust and water-resistant ABS housing, ideal for use as a reversing or side camera.

To achieve excellent image quality in all lighting conditions, the 140 ° wide-angle lens is complemented by five LEDs, providing everything you need for safe maneuvering. An integrated microphone also ensures that you can hear what is happening behind your vehicle.

The PerfectView CAM 18 is prepared for connection to an external monitor or navigation system with an RCA video input. A suitable adapter is available as an option from Dometic (see Dometic AMP50 under "Accessories" below).
